A Day in the Life of a Psychologist

I have chosen this article because I am studying in "Social Science" and I want to be a psychologist. This is a really interresting article about how to be a psychologist and what it means. Here is a summary of this article:
What is psychology? It is a science that studies the human or the animal behaviors. It is not easy to work in the psychology’s field. With a Ph.D. you can do research, or work in a hospital, a private clinic or you can work in a school. The Ph.D. has been created in a way that to have it (after your finish with your bachelor’s degree and your master’s degree) you need to spend two years as a full-time student and a whole year as an intern in a psychological field. Without a Ph.D. you can do the same as psychologists with a Ph.D. but you have to be supervised by a psychologist with a Ph.D. at all time. Psychologists that work in a hospital are paid to listen to their client’s psychological problems, find where those problems are coming from and start therapies with the clients to help them face their problems and solve them.
Most of the psychologists will, later in their career, work in their own private clinic. They will do the same as those who works in hospitals, but the salary is more interesting. Those who work in a school can help the students or the school staffs if they need psychological supports. They can also help the school’s administration like other psychologist can help private companies with their administration, by giving their professional opinions about the decisions made by the administration. Finally, the psychologists who are working in a school can work with other professional psychologist or students in a field related to research in a psychological field. Those research are made to increase our comprehension of the human behavior or test new way to solve psychological problems. With a better comprehension of the human behavior the psychologists working in a hospital or a private clinic can increase their psychological knowledge and help more people with psychological issues.
As you can see, a day in the life of a psychologist can be very different depending on where he works and on if he is working as a clinical psychologist, a researcher or if he is paid to give his opinion about administration decisions.
